In an effort to stream line operations, Serene Microfinance LTD seeks to recruit qualified Loan Recovery Officer to be involved in debt/Loan recovering.

Loan Recovery Officer Duties and Responsibilities

Keep tracking of outstanding loans and Defaulters
Plan course of action to recover Non Performing Loans
Perform loan recovery as per target given
Locate and contact debtors
Update account status and database regularly
Comply with requirements when legal action is unavoidable
Handle customers’ questions or complaints
Negotiate payoff deadlines and payment plans as directed by your supervisor
Build trust with debtors

Required Skills & Qualifications.

Two years of experience as Loan recovery officer in a microfinance /bank
Knowledge of relevant legal requirements
Good negotiation and persuasion skills
Experience in working with targets and tight deadlines
Team player
Good time-management skills
Great interpersonal and communication Skills and financial skills
Excellent Communication (both written and spoken) in English & Swahili

Education Requirements

Holder of University Degree or equivalent qualification in business administration, Finance or other related field
At least 2 year experience in a similar position.
