About GTI
Grow Tanzania Initiative (GTI) is a registered Tanzanian non-governmental organization committed to improving the lives of children through Education, Nutrition, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), and Community Empowerment.
- Our Vision is “A Better Life with Equal Access to Quality Education for Every Child”
Our current priority is the School Nutrition Initiative at Ugele Primary School in Iringa Region, where 96 children receive breakfast (uji) and lunch every school day through a sustainable community-led model supported by parents, school food production, the school, and local government.
While we are proud of this progress, many more children in Iringa and other regions still need our support. Our goal is to strengthen this model and expand it to more schools and communities across the Iringa Region and other regions in Tanzania at large.
