Duties and Responsibilities
Driving a patrol boat;
Designing, manufacturing and maintaining fishing gear (Fishing Gears);
Piloting and piloting small boats/vessels with a length of 40 feet and a registered weight of 50 – 100 tons “Gross Tonnage (GRT)”;
Conducting fishing activities in ships; Participating in conducting sea and land patrols, and EEZ Patrols;
Read VMS information and submit it to the Head of the station every day, week, month, quarter, half year and year;
Arrest violators of Fishing Laws and Regulations;
Helping to keep all records of fuel consumption in patrol vessels;
Help prepare a schedule for maintenance and "service" of all patrol vehicles (service schedule);
To carry out all the duties of the force as specified in Article 32 of the Fisheries Law and. 22 of 2003; and
To do other tasks in his field that will be assigned by the head of work.
Qualifications
Employing graduates of Form IV or VI with a Diploma (Diploma NTA - level 6) of Master Fisherman from Fisheries Education and Training Agency (FETA) or an equivalent qualification from other colleges recognized by the Government.
