Key responsibilities
- Reports to: Senior Network Administrator.
- Industry: Airline-Aviation.
- System Upgrades: Install and update network hardware and software, ensuring compatibility with immigration software platforms and compliance with industry standards.
- Security Implementation: Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and remaining security measures to protect sensitive immigration data.

- Performance Optimization: Analyze network performance and implement improvements to support high-demand periods, like visa application deadlines.

Requirements
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark).

- Relevant certifications to enhance qualifications include but not limited to: o Dell EMC Certified Associate Networking.
- Proficiency in managing network devices like routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Tanzanian national only.
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting VPNs and wireless networks.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
- Fluency in the two English and Kiswahili (spoken and written).
- Closing date : 1st October 2026.
- Previous experience in the aviation industry is a plus.
- AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
- CompTIA Network+.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

- Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) Certification.
