Job Overview
Africom Energies Group (AEI) is seeking two dynamic, results-oriented Sales and Marketing Officers to join our growing team. In this role, you will drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, promoting our premier Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services, and cultivating long-term client relationships across the industrial and infrastructure sectors.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
Business Development & Lead Generation

Identify Growth Opportunities: Source and develop new business avenues within the engineering, construction, industrial, and infrastructure sectors.

Lead Generation: Actively build a robust pipeline through targeted market research, networking, client visits, and strategic referrals.

Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, analyze industry trends, and track upcoming project tenders to keep AEI ahead of the curve.
Client Relationship & Account Management

Relationship Building: Develop and sustain strong, trust-based partnerships with key stakeholders, including clients, consultants, contractors, and project owners.

Customer Service: Provide exceptional account management and after-sales support to ensure high client satisfaction and repeat business.

Brand Advocacy: Deliver compelling technical and commercial presentations that effectively showcase AEI’s capabilities and solutions.
Sales Execution & Reporting

Proposal Management: Collaborate closely with the engineering and estimating teams to develop precise quotations, commercial proposals, and tender submissions.

Deal Closure: Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and contracts to maximize sales conversion rates and meet/exceed assigned revenue targets.

CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all client interactions and sales pipelines in the CRM system. Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly sales reports for executive management.
Qualifications & Experience
To be successful in this role, you should bring:

Education: A Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a closely related field.

Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of proven sales experience, ideally within the EPC, construction, heavy engineering, or industrial sectors.

Technical Acumen: Ability to easily grasp technical specifications, engineering concepts, and complex customer requirements.

Key Skills: Strong negotiation, high-impact presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software.

Logistics: A valid driver’s license and full willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and project site visits.
