Duties and Responsibilities

i. Performing all hospital-based medical duties related to various conditions within the relevant field, including pediatrics, obstetrics/gynecology, and routine or emergency surgery.

ii. Providing and supervising health education and improving community health within the district, region, or area of ​​work.

iii. Maintaining statistics and utilizing them in accordance with established systems.

iv. Investigating, monitoring, and preventing disease outbreaks.

v. Preparing continuing education programs for health personnel.

vi. Supervising and guiding subordinate staff.

vii. Designing, conducting, and evaluating research, and disseminating findings.

viii. Designing and preparing strategies to enhance the quality of services in their field.

ix. Preparing plans and budget estimates for health services.

x. Participating in, verifying, and improving health services (medical audit and quality improvement).

xiv. Preparing plans and budget estimates for health services.

xv. Performing other duties assigned by their supervisor that are relevant to their education, experience, and skills.

Qualifications

Recruitment of graduates holding a medical degree from government-recognized universities. Candidates must be registered with the Medical Council of Tanganyika. Remuneration
