Jhpiego Tanzania is seeking a qualified Grants Officer to oversee and manage sub-grants across its country programs.

- Sub-Grant Selection & Pre-Award Assessment: Work with technical and finance teams to issue Requests for Applications (RFAs), conduct pre-award assessments, evaluate applicant integrity/capacity, review budget estimates, and establish risk profiles.

Requirements
- Certifications: CPA, ACCA finalist, or equivalent professional qualification is a strong advantage.
- Key Skills: Strong written/verbal communication, supervisory capabilities, problem-solving skills, and the ability to travel to field locations for compliance reviews.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of USG rules and regulations, Tanzanian income tax laws, sub-award mandatory requirements, and MS Office Suite.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 to 7 years of post-qualification experience in grants management inside a reputable NGO or development agency.
