What you’ll do
Role purpose
The System Administrator: IT Datacentre Specialist is responsible for the efficient management, administration, and optimization of datacentre infrastructure and systems.
The role ensures the high availability, security, and performance of critical IT environments, including private cloud, Internet of Things (IoT), and big data platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Systems deployment and automation
- Configure, deploy, and maintain IT systems.
- Use automation and industry best practices to improve operational efficiency.
- Support evolving technologies and infrastructure requirements.
- Systems maintenance and monitoring
- Ensure the high availability of datacentre infrastructure.
- Maintain optimal system and infrastructure performance.
- Conduct continuous monitoring and regular maintenance.
- Systems security and compliance

- Business continuity and disaster recovery

Knowledge of relational databases, including:
