Duties and responsibilities
The successful candidates will be responsible for the following:
Assisting in analysing FCC’s information needs in relation to information technology and the library.
Conducting information systems reviews and recommending appropriate improvements.
Recommending appropriate library materials for acquisition.
Assisting in the development and maintenance of the IT-based public register.
Implementing ICT policies and strategies.
Undertaking maintenance of ICT systems and providing timely solutions.
Implementing and maintaining the Commission’s IT security and disaster recovery plan.
Assisting in preparing periodic reports on the status of information technology and systems management within the organization.
Performing any other duties that may be assigned by their superior.
Qualifications
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:
Computer system science
Computer engineering
Information technology
Information systems and network engineering
Information and communication technology
Software engineering
Database administration
Computer system analysis
Computer system security
Network administration
Information and communication systems management
An equivalent computer-related qualification from a recognized institution
