Role Overview & Primary Purpose
The Logistics Officer coordinates day-to-day logistical operations at Ignite Energy Access (IEA) Tanzania to ensure efficient, timely, and safe movement of goods. The role oversees stock movement, executes forward and reverse distribution plans for MySol solar home systems (SHS), appliances, and spare parts across the National Warehouse and MySol shops, and enforces strict inventory compliance.

Distribution & Stock Movement: Supervise loading, offloading, field stock balancing, and reshuffles. Manage spare parts demands and transport routes across the retail network.

Cost & Process Optimization: Plan efficient deliveries to optimize transport costs. Apply continuous improvement methods (Kaizen, 6S, Six Sigma) across supply chain operations.

Data & Inventory Administration: Oversee digital and hard-copy documentation, including delivery notes, control sheets, and ticketing systems. Ensure high data integrity across database records.
