1. Principal Internal Auditor II (Information System Audit)

Number of positions: One

Job purpose

The jobholder reports to the Head of Internal Audit. He/She is responsible for carrying out audit functions in the bank.

Duties and responsibilities

To participate in developing the risk based internal audit annual plan with emphasis on ICT systems and applications.

Assist Head of Internal Audit in developing and implementing internal audit procedure manual and charter.

Assist audit team members in matters related to data analytics to ensure that overall objectives of the audit are met.

Plan and conduct audit projects in specified areas of ICT in relation to auditable areas.

Review data integrity and accuracy in different ICT systems and all other software used by the bank.

Keep the Head of Internal Audit regularly informed on arising information System risks and exception issues related to ICT.

Conduct follow up review for all audit reports as well as report from other assurance providers to validate implementation progress.

Carry out any other duties assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.

Qualifications and experience

University degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related discipline.

Holder of a Master’s degree in one of the following fields; Auditing, Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions.

Possession of a certification as a Certified Information System Auditor (CISA).

Internationally recognized professional qualifications such as ACCA or CPA (T) is an added advantage.

Working experience of at least thirteen (13) years in related field.

Knowledge and skills in computer applications for auditing purposes like audit management software and data analytics.

Leadership and management skills.

2. Senior Internal Auditor II

Number of positions: One

Job profile

The jobholder reports to the Head of Internal Audit. He/She is responsible for carrying out audit functions in the bank.

Duties and responsibilities

To carry out periodic internal audit projects and timely issue reports for supervisory review on each assignment.

To conduct follow up confirm implementation of previous audit recommendation and other reports from assurance providers.

To conduct review of audit manual, Charter and provide proposal for change in line with current professional practices.

To conduct risk assessment and identify risk areas to be accommodated in annual audit plan.

To undertake any other duties as assigned by the Head of Internal Audit from time to time.

Qualifications and experience

Holder of bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma in one of the following fields; Auditing, Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration/Commerce majoring in Accountancy or Finance or equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions.

Internationally recognized professional accountancy qualifications such as ACCA or CPA (T).

Knowledge and skills in computer applications for auditing purposes.

Working experience of at least seven (7) years in related field.

3. Re-advertised: Senior Business Development Officer II (Portfolio Monitoring)

Number of positions: One

Job purpose

The Senior Business Development Officer II (Portfolio Monitoring) provides critical oversight and performance management for the bank’s financed projects by ensuring rigorous compliance and proactive risk identification.

Duties and responsibilities

To conduct regular portfolio performance reviews, including field visits, to assess progress against deliverables, impact targets, and compliance standards.

To analyze portfolio data and generate dashboards and reports highlighting performance trends, key risks, and early warning signals.

To lead the tracking, monitoring, and evaluation of financed projects and strategic interventions across the lending portfolio.

To collaborate with Credit, Risk, and Zonal teams to resolve implementation challenges, repayment issues, and underperforming accounts.

To prepare quarterly and annual portfolio performance reports for Management, Donors, and Development Partners.

To maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date portfolio database capturing KPIs, ESG compliance, risk ratings, and project status.

To support due diligence, project structuring, and restructuring processes during loan origination and review phases.

To identify emerging risks and compliance gaps and recommend mitigation strategies to safeguard portfolio quality.

To track and respond to actions raised by Audit, CREDCO, PRC, BOT, MANCO, and the Board, ensuring timely closure of findings.

To coordinate with Government Ministries, DFIs, consultants, and partners to enhance monitoring synergies and project sustainability.

To champion product performance monitoring, product enhancement initiatives, and sales support in collaboration with Zonal Business Development Officers.

To serve as a risk champion and ensure alignment with governance, policy, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and experience

Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields; Economics, Business Administration, Agricultural Economics, Finance, Accounts, Banking and Finance or equivalent qualification from recognized institutions.

Working experience of at least seven (7) years in related field.

Strong grasp of project appraisals, performance indicators, risk assessment, and ESG compliance.

Excellent skills in data analysis & reporting.

Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.

Proven knowledge of agriculture value chains (crops, livestock, aquaculture, agro-processing input supply, etc.) is an added advantage.

4. Business Development Officer II (Project Management)

Number of positions: One

Job purpose

To support the preparation, coordination, and implementation of strategic projects across the Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries sectors, ensuring effective appraisal, monitoring, stakeholder engagement, and compliance, while advancing climate-smart practices and the productivity, resilience, and competitiveness of financed project beneficiaries.

Duties and responsibilities

To assist in the preparation, coordination, and implementation of strategic projects across the Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries sectors, including the design, piloting, and rollout of interventions tailored to diverse clients and value chain actors.

To participate in project appraisals, feasibility studies, and due diligence processes for proposed and ongoing projects.

To collect, validate, and analyze project data and prepare regular progress reports that highlight achievements, risks, lessons learned, and recommendations in support of monitoring and evaluation.

To liaise with and provide operational support to internal teams, government agencies, private sector partners, other DFIs, consultants, and vendors to ensure effective project coordination.

To facilitate workshops, training sessions, and capacity-building engagements for financed project beneficiaries.

To contribute to the mainstreaming of climate-smart and sustainable practices, and support initiatives that enhance the productivity, resilience, market access, and competitiveness of financed project beneficiaries.

To identify risks and challenges affecting project implementation and propose appropriate mitigation strategies.

To ensure compliance with TADB’s policies, development finance standards, and environmental and social safeguards, and to maintain accurate project documentation, records, and databases for accountability and learning.

To perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications and experience

Holder of bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields; Economics, Business Administration, Agricultural Economics, Aquaculture, Finance, Accounts, Banking and Finance or equivalent qualification from recognized institutions.

Knowledge in Fisheries Science, Aquaculture and Aquatic Sciences, Marine Biology, or Environmental Management is an added advantage.

Knowledge in fish stock dynamics, breeding cycles, and aquatic ecology to make data-driven decisions.

Analytical Skills: Experience in interpreting financial information/statements.

Ability to evaluate credit application proposals.
