Job Purpose
The Direct Sales Agent position is a performance-based field role focused on driving customer acquisition, expanding market reach, and promoting Letshego’s retail financial products across designated zones in Dar es Salaam.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Field Sales & Customer Acquisition:
-
Proactively identify, prospect, and engage potential clients within assigned target locations (Kariakoo, Manzese, or Temeke).

Promote, cross-sell, and explain Letshego’s financial solutions, credit products, and services to retail customers and small business owners.
-

Client Relationship & Onboarding:
-
Guide potential borrowers through product requirements and assist them in complete, accurate loan application processes.

Build and maintain strong ongoing relationships with local business communities and clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Performance & Target Achievement:
-
Consistently achieve and exceed monthly individual sales, disbursement, and customer acquisition targets.

Keep accurate daily activity logs and report field feedback to the Direct Sales Team Leader.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications
-
Educational Background: Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or related fields.
-
Experience: Prior experience in direct sales, field marketing, financial product sales, or retail banking is a strong plus (fresh graduates with high sales drive are encouraged to apply).

Skills & Competencies:

High-energy, self-motivated, and target-driven mindset.

Excellent interpersonal, persuasion, and negotiation skills.

Strong networking ability with deep geographical knowledge of Dar es Salaam (specifically Kariakoo, Manzese, or Temeke).

Spoken and written fluency in Swahili (English is an added advantage).
