About the Role

Eezy Group is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support financial operations across its Dar es Salaam office. Reporting within the Finance Department, the successful candidate will accurately record, reconcile, and report financial transactions while ensuring strict compliance with Tanzanian statutory requirements, accounting standards, and internal control procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial & General Ledger Operations: Manage accounts payable/receivable, process payments and reimbursements, allocate customer receipts, and issue invoices and aging reports.
Cash & Banking Reconciliations: Conduct daily and monthly bank reconciliations, mobile money reconciliations, and petty cash management.
Taxation & Regulatory Compliance: Prepare statutory schedules and support filings for VAT, PAYE, and Withholding Tax with the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA).
Inventory & Audit Support: Maintain stock movement records, investigate inventory variances, and prepare audit schedules for internal and external auditors.

Candidate Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
CPA Level II qualification at a minimum (CPA Level III is preferred).
2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in financial management, tax compliance, and stock reconciliation.
High analytical competence, strong acquaintance with modern ERP/accounting systems, and advanced Excel skills.
