- The M&E Intern supports data collection, verification, reporting, and patient tracking for the BEAT Breast Cancer Project in Zanzibar. This position works directly with Integrated Reproductive and Child Health (IRCH) facilities and District Health Management Teams (DHMTs) to maintain data quality, strengthen documentation, and drive evidence-based health decision-making.
- Data Management & Analysis: Execute data collection, entry, cleaning, and biostatistical analysis regarding breast cancer screening, diagnostics, and patient navigation.
- Data Quality & Facility Support: Assist health facility teams and DHMTs in timely reporting; participate in routine field verification visits across Unguja and Pemba.
- Patient Tracking & Continuity: Track confirmed breast cancer patients to support navigation services, referral follow-ups, and continuous care.
