Job Purpose

Coordinate and provide ICT support services across all assigned zones and branches. This role ensures the availability, reliability, security, and operation of branch ICT infrastructure, end-user tools, office machines, ATMs, POS devices, and network connectivity.

The specialist acts as the first point of technical coordination, handles preventive maintenance, manages asset inventory, coordinates vendor SLAs, and resolves branch incidents to support seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support & Incident Resolution: Act as the first point of contact for branch ICT incidents; troubleshoot issues and coordinate escalations with specialized teams (Infrastructure, Network, Cyber Security, ATM/POS) and vendors.
Systems & Infrastructure Maintenance: Maintain branch hardware, end-user devices, office machines, POS units, ATMs, and basic LAN/WAN network connectivity.
Preventive Maintenance & Security: Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance across branches, enforce ICT security controls, install software/antivirus updates, and ensure compliance with bank policies.
Project Support & Deployment: Coordinate equipment installation, relocation, upgrades, and commissioning for new branches, renovations, or technology rollouts.
Asset & Vendor Management: Maintain accurate inventories of all ICT assets across their lifecycle (deployment, transfer, retirement) and monitor vendor SLA performance.
Reporting & Audits: Prepare zonal ICT reports detailing incidents, maintenance, and asset statuses while supporting internal audits and compliance reviews.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Technology or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ICT support experience in a banking or branch operations environment.
Required Certification: ITILv3 ICT Service Management certification.
Preferred Certifications: Microsoft and/or Network certifications are an added advantage.
Technical & Operational Skills:
- Hands-on experience supporting end-user computing tools, office machines, POS devices, ATMs, and basic LAN/WAN connectivity.
- Strong understanding of incident management, escalation processes, and asset inventory tracking.
Key Competencies: Excellent troubleshooting, vendor coordination, SLA monitoring, communication, and reporting skills.
