  • Our Maternity and Newborn Wing serves as a referral centre for high-risk and emergency deliveries in the region of Dar es Salaam and the Eastern Zone of Tanzania.
  • Supporting effective planning and execution of major procurements.
  • CCBRT is seeking a dynamic Head of Procurement & Supply Chain who will manage and direct the purchasing of every goods and services for CCBRT.
  • CCBRT is Tanzania's largest local provider of disability and rehabilitation services in the country.
  • Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT) aims to be the preferred provider of accessible specialized health services in Africa and serves, as a healthcare social enterprise and via development programmes, the community and the most vulnerable.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in effective Contract & Risk Management.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • The post-holder is registered with the Procurement and Supplies Professionals and Technicians Board (PSPTB).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the two English and Swahili.
  • Excellent I.T. skills with the capability of using software packages like SAP.
  • Experience in the health and NGO sector is a useful extra.
  • The post-holder is an authorized Supplies Officer or Stock Verifier.
