Position Overview

The Procurement and Logistics Officer oversees the transparent, cost-effective, and efficient management of supply chain functions across Zanzibar operations. Reporting to the Human Resources & Administration Coordinator, this role ensures the timely delivery of goods, services, and operational support necessary for effective program implementation. The officer will uphold organizational accountability, drive value for money, ensure strict compliance with internal and donor requirements, and optimize fleet and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement & Vendor Management: Strengthen procurement systems to secure quality, cost-effective goods and services; establish pre-qualified supplier networks and framework agreements; conduct market price surveys and negotiate competitive terms.
