Role Purpose & Core Responsibilities
- Operational Supervision: Oversee day-to-day procurement tasks including Purchase Requisitions (PRs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), Requests for Orders (ROs), Purchase Orders (POs), and tracking backlog/lead times.
- Sourcing & Supplier Management: Coordinate sourcing, technical/commercial quotation evaluations, supplier negotiations, local content compliance, and supplier performance tracking for mining equipment, spare parts, reagents, and services.
- Data Analytics & Reporting: Conduct spend analysis, track purchasing trends, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and build performance reporting dashboards using Microsoft Excel and ERP/Power BI systems.
- Governance & Internal Controls: Ensure full adherence to corporate procurement policies, delegated financial authorities, local mining sector regulations, and risk mitigation protocols.
