Role Overview
SBC Tanzania Limited is urgently recruiting a qualified and skilled Syrup Room Operator for its Mbeya Plant. The primary objective of this role is to operate and control equipment in the syrup room to ensure timely, high-quality, and proper syrup preparation to support continuous beverage production lines.
Key Duties & Responsibilities

Machine Operation & Syrup Preparation: Operate and control processing equipment in the syrup room to prepare batches on schedule following strict product formulations.

Cleaning & Sanitation (CIP/GMP): Execute Clean-In-Place (CIP) procedures according to the CIP Matrix and company standards. Maintain cleaning and sanitation in processing areas as per Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements. SBC Tanzania (Pepsi) Job Vacancy

Inventory & Ordering: Coordinate timely ordering of required concentrates and ingredients to prevent production delays.

Reporting & Escalation: Maintain accurate data logs regarding syrup batching and immediately report any operational deviations or failures to supervisors.

Testing & Quality Standards: Support microbiological/chemical testing and standardization methods to ensure product integrity.
Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Certificate or Diploma in Laboratory Technology, Chemistry, Food Science, or a related discipline.

Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year of practical experience in syrup room operations, beverage processing, or food manufacturing plant environments.

Core Competencies: Basic knowledge of chemical/microbiological testing, report writing, understanding of CIP/GMP protocols, and strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
