Position Overview
The Human Capital Intern provides administrative and operational support within the Human Capital Operations unit at Absa Bank Tanzania. This role focuses on job architecture, job catalogue management, employee data administration, records management, and organizational structure maintenance. The intern will gain hands-on experience in corporate Human Capital management while assisting with HR governance, audits, and daily employee inquiries.
Key Responsibilities

Job Architecture & Data Integrity: Support the review, update, and maintenance of the Bank’s Job Catalogue, job profiles, and organizational charts; assist with job analysis and maintaining position control data in HR systems.

Employee Records & Compliance: Maintain complete, up-to-date employee files; conduct regular data validation and periodic audits of HR records to ensure alignment with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and governance standards.

HR Operations & Administration: Provide general administrative support to the Human Capital team, draft official HR correspondence, prepare meeting materials, and handle routine employee inquiries.

Risk & Control Management: Adhere strictly to Absa risk frameworks, uphold data privacy and confidentiality standards, complete mandatory compliance training, and proactively identify operational risks.
